A-Rod and Girardi Tossed From Game By Umpire Who Hates Yankees
Marty Foster, the same umpire that got into an argument with Derek Jeter in July, ejected the Yankees 3B and manager Joe Girardi, in the fifth for arguing a called third strike on the A-Rod which ended the 4th.Rodriguez says: "I don't know what his deal is with the Yankees. To tell Jeter to get off the field and to throw me out without a warning."Girardi says: "These games are extremely important to us, and I just thought he could have warned him. I didn't think what Alex said warranted him... getting thrown out of the game."Foster says: "He was ejected for arguing pitches from the dugout." more>>

NY Yankees Catcher Jorge Posada Loses Count...Twice
Jorge Posada must be told to take his base in the 2nd inning after ball four, and then that he only has two strikes as he headed back to the dugout in the fifth, after which he hit a HR. It's not easy being the best team in the American League, and sometimes you just lose track of things (like the pitch count).
